Mechanic / Technician

HGrégoire Kia Vaudreuil – Technician / Mechanic Level 1 or 2 (Full-time, Permanent)

About the Position We are looking for a Level 1 or 2 Technician / Mechanic for a permanent full-time position. If you are passionate about mechanics and motivated by doing quality work, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair according to work orders, manufacturer and dealer standards.
• Identify faults based on customer complaints and inspections; perform necessary repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain required parts and carry out repairs.
• Examine vehicles for additional maintenance or safety needs.
• Promptly notify the technical advisor or supervisor if additional work is required or if certain repairs cannot be performed.
• Install optional equipment requested by the customer or dealer.
• Conduct road tests, if necessary, to validate repair quality.
• Record work and recommendations accurately on repair orders.
• Report any defects or equipment issues to your immediate supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay informed of manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Perform other related tasks as needed by the service.

Candidate Profile

• Automotive mechanic training.
• Valid CPA card (mandatory).
• Experience in automotive mechanics: minimum 1 year.
• Specialization in wheel alignment: an asset.
• Quick execution and attention to quality work.
• Excellent observation skills and high diligence.
• Good physical condition.
