Job Offer: General Mechanic – Heavy Trucks (Quebec)

We are looking to strengthen our mechanical service team within the Quebec City workshop. Day shift, permanent position focused on maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy trucks leased by the City of Quebec through our rental division.

About the position

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs according to established work orders.
• Diagnose faults and document the interventions performed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure professional, efficient, and safe service.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (mid-shift premium).

Profile sought

• Duties and experience
  • DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy truck mechanics.
  • An additional year of experience as a mechanic/technician is desirable.
• Technical skills
  • Diesel engine diagnosis and repair.
  • Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems.
  • Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems.
  • Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair.
  • Programming ECM/PCM/ECU.
  • Repair of suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems.
