Sales Director - Valleyfield Nissan

Valleyfield Nissan, a dynamic dealership located at 2715 Boulevard Hébert, Valleyfield (near Beauharnois), is seeking a Sales Director to lead the sales team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the commercial strategy and the annual sales plan.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Monitor key indicators (volume, margin, product mix, customer satisfaction) and manage the sales budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, financial partners, and internal teams (Finance, After-Sales Service) to optimize the customer experience.
  • Oversee the sales process, pipeline follow-up, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture focused on quality service, with ongoing skills training.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize performance and support sustainable growth.
  • Operational activities: vehicle purchasing (auctions and online platforms), inventory and budget management, schedule management, supervision of new and used vehicle sales, dealer exchanges, and vehicle evaluation.

Profile Sought

  • Relevant degree (bachelor’s in administration, marketing, or business) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales management or an equivalent role, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Proven skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and office software; ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented, strong business acumen, and customer service focus.
  • Fluency in French; English is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of SERTI software is an asset.
