Technical Support Technician – After-Sales Service (Montreal – Saint-Léonard)

Subaru Metropolitan, a dynamic dealership and member of Tremblay Auto Group, is seeking a Technical Support Technician to strengthen its after-sales team. You will provide essential technical support to technicians and contribute to the operational efficiency of the service department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide operational technical support to technicians: basic and advanced diagnostics, assistance during interventions, configuration and testing of electronic and mechanical systems of Subaru vehicles; liaise with Subaru technical support.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of work techniques and increase procedural efficiency.
  • Participate in functional checks and quality controls after repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Service and Parts departments to ensure a smooth workflow and an optimal customer experience.
  • Follow safety procedures, Subaru standards, and after-sales requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Participate in programming and testing of components (ECM/PCM/ECU) and other technical interventions as needed.
  • Track progress of work and document interventions.

Profile

  • 10 years of experience required. On-site training possible; motivated candidates passionate about automobiles are preferred.
  • Relevant diploma (DEC or AEC in automotive maintenance, electrical/electronics, computer science, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive electronics, computing, and embedded systems; ability to learn quickly and adapt.
  • Good team spirit, excellent communication skills, and customer service orientation.
  • Organization, rigor, reliability, and sense of responsibilities.
  • Availability to adapt to the service schedule and participate in training periods.

Skills and Tools

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Software and tools: SERTI (Administration), Microsoft Office (Outlook), SDS.
