Service Director – Luxury Automotive

Our client, an established and recognized company in the luxury automotive sector, is seeking a Service Director to oversee service operations and support its continued growth. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure the department’s performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and an exceptional customer experience in line with brand standards.

About the Position

• Supervise the service department, prioritizing profitability, operational efficiency, and a high-quality customer experience.
• Manage the department’s finances (gross margin, labor performance, absorption, ELR, warranty/parts mix, technician productivity).
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to standard operational procedures (SOP) for service, dispatch, warranty, and technician workflow.
• Monitor, interpret, and act on manufacturer KPIs and reports.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing and cohesive team.
• Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and Management departments to align fixed operations with overall strategy.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, internal policies, and customer satisfaction expectations (CSI).
• Perform other related tasks as needed for operational effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in automotive service management, ideally in a luxury brand.
• Strong business management skills and ability to drive financial performance and operational KPIs.
• Proficient with dealership management systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK).
• Proven track record in management, capable of leading advisors, technicians, and service teams.
• Organized, process-oriented, analytical, and able to translate data into operational actions.
• Professionalism, discretion, and alignment with luxury service standards.
