Technical Advisor – Point S - VSPRO Tires and Mechanical

Location: Saint-Hubert, Quebec

About the position

We are looking for a passionate Technical Advisor who loves automobiles and customer service to join our dynamic team. You combine technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset to provide a personalized and secure experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their technical needs, and propose suitable solutions.
• Explain services, options, and timelines; prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with technicians to carry out interventions according to quality and safety standards.
• Monitor the progress of interventions, communicate costs and deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in selling services and products (tires, brakes, maintenance, parts, and accessories) and identify opportunities for customer loyalty.
• Organize the work station, manage stock levels, and maintain customer records in computer systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and uphold the professional image of the service point.

Profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in technical customer service within the automotive sector.
• General knowledge of automotive systems and components (tires, brakes, suspension, electrical) and ability to simplify technical information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; active listening and the ability to offer clear solutions.
• Team spirit, versatility, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
• Proficiency with computer tools and service management software.
• Valid driver's license (an advantage).

Technical skills and tools

• GEM-CAR – Service Management; PBS Systems (preferred)
• Organization, customer service orientation, proactivity
