We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor to join the Mauricie Volkswagen team, a reputable dealership located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. You will be the key contact with our customers, combining listening, transparency, and technical expertise to offer tailored solutions and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their maintenance and repair needs.
• Explain diagnostics and technical solutions, present costs and service options.
• Schedule and coordinate interventions with the workshop and technicians, track work orders, and ensure the accuracy of parts and service requests.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers throughout the process.
• Suggest preventive services and relevant improvements while adhering to Volkswagen standards.
• Collaborate with the parts team and after-sales service to optimize turnaround times and service quality.
• Update customer records and management systems accurately, while complying with procedures and safety standards.

Desired Profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a technical advisor or service advisor in the automotive sector.
• Good knowledge of automotive systems and ability to interpret diagnostics and explain solutions clearly and pedagogically.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and teamwork skills; solutions and results-oriented.
• Proficiency with computer tools and service management software; ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual (French/English) considered an asset; valid driver’s license.

Daily Tasks

• Follow up on work and ensure traceability of interventions.
• Open and close work orders.
• Schedule appointments and manage the planning.
• Provide repair cost estimates and present options.
• Receive and manage customer calls; ensure quality customer service.
• Track client information and files in management systems.
• Propose and sell complementary products and services when appropriate.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Advisor.
