Automotive Technical Advisor — Sorel-Tracy Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi dealership located in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, is seeking a motivated Technical Advisor to join a dynamic team. You will serve as the key interface between customers and the workshop, contributing to an exceptional customer experience and clear, accessible technical communication.
About the Job
You will welcome customers, understand their maintenance and repair needs, and communicate technical information in an understandable manner. You will coordinate quotes, repair orders, and technician schedules, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and identify their maintenance and repair needs.
- Explain maintenance and repairs in simple terms; prepare quotes and present service options.
- Prepare and monitor repair orders; estimate costs and coordinate with the technician team to meet deadlines.
- Proactively communicate progress and potential costs; manage priorities.
- Promote preventive services and loyalty and maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.
- Collaborate with sales and after-sales service teams.
- Participate in training and update knowledge on Mitsubishi products and related technologies.
- Maintain organization of the workspace and accuracy of customer and vehicle records.
- Follow up on work, open/close work orders, schedule appointments, and produce estimates; handle calls and customer service; customer follow-up; sell products and services.
Desired Profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or in automotive customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, service-oriented attitude, and ability to propose suitable solutions.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts and make them understandable.
- Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
- Team spirit, organization, and good prioritization skills.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with workshop management systems; quick learner.
- Motivated to continuously train and improve skills.
