Job Openings: Technical Advisor – After-Sales Service (BMW Sherbrooke, Groupe AutoMax)
BMW Sherbrooke – Groupe AutoMax is looking for a passionate Technical Advisor – after-sales service, for strengthening its dynamic team. Reporting to the after-sales service manager, you will serve as the interface between clients and the technical team, assess needs, explain interventions, and ensure exceptional customer service. This position combines technical skills and personalized service within a high-end, friendly BMW environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand their technical needs regarding maintenance or repairs.
- Diagnose issues in collaboration with technicians and workshop specialists.
- Prepare clear and transparent quotes; explain interventions, costs, and timelines; estimate deadlines.
- Follow repair orders, communicate progress, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Propose preventive maintenance solutions, original BMW parts, and suitable warranty options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the service management system.
- Work closely with the service team and technicians to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in technical customer service within the automotive industry.
- Good technical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair; ideally familiar with BMW systems.
- Excellent communication skills, active listening, and the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical customers.
- Service-minded and customer-focused attitude; ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
- Fluent in French; English is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
