Heavy Vehicle Technical Advisor — PacLease

About the position

In the PacLease department, the technical advisor is the lever of performance and reliability for our fleet. A true interface between clients, the workshop, and external partners, they ensure the management of maintenance and the handling of short- and long-term contracts. Their role helps reduce downtime, optimize costs, and ensure high standards of compliance and performance.

Main responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance (answering calls, scheduling appointments, tracking workorders, managing warranties).
• Daily follow-up on work with the workshop and subcontractors to meet deadlines and minimize downtime.
• Keep maintenance records, inventories, and management systems up to date, ensuring data accuracy and cost control.
• Provide strategic support for maintenance and contribute to contract management (short and long term).
• Deliver quality customer service and coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Profile sought

• Experience: minimum of 2 years in the heavy truck field (a significant advantage).
• Knowledge: solid basic knowledge of heavy trucks and understanding of maintenance issues.
• Technical and computer skills: excellent command of IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite and management systems).
• Languages: fluent in French; English is an asset (communication with English-speaking clients).
• Professional qualities: autonomous, prioritization skills, administrative rigor, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Personal profile: resourceful, organized, solution-oriented, capable of remaining professional under pressure.
