Service Advisor

Technical Advisor – NAPA Autopro, Gare Mechanical Center (Saint-Jérôme)

You join a growing garage where respect and mutual support define the team culture. You will be the primary technical point of contact for our customers and a key support for our technicians.

Main Missions

• Advise clients on recommended repairs and maintenance, explaining options and associated costs.
• Diagnose vehicle needs based on symptoms, gathered information, and quick tests.
• Prepare and present clear, accurate, and competitive estimates, considering safety and reliability requirements.
• Schedule interventions with technicians and coordinate parts and timelines.
• Follow up on customer files, communicate progress, and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality, and internal procedures.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and overall customer experience.

Operational Tasks

• Monitor work progress and ensure completion.
• Open and close work orders.
• Schedule and respond to appointments and calls.
• Generate repair cost estimates.
• Provide customer service and follow up on client relationships.
• Contribute to the sale of complementary products and services.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in an automotive workshop.
• Technical diploma in auto mechanics or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-expert clients.
• Team spirit, versatility, organization, and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
• Knowledge of workshop management software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and availability to work as needed by the workshop.
