Automotive Technical Advisor - Saint-Eustache

A car dealership based in Saint-Eustache, we offer the sale of new and used vehicles, as well as parts and mechanical repair services. Missions and Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and gather the necessary information to identify repair and maintenance needs.
- Offer maintenance services, prepare quotes, and organize work schedules, ensuring service quality.
- Manage appointments, customer information, and vehicle-related documents.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates of labor and parts costs; coordinate deadlines with the workshop dispatcher.
- Monitor progress of work throughout the day and inform the customer of any changes to the estimate or timeline.
- Verify the extent of warranty coverage and obtain necessary approvals for additional work.
- Obtain customer signatures on the repair order and ensure proper filing, as well as managing payment methods and, if necessary, credit approval.
- Communicate with the workshop and dispatcher about work to be done; coordinate road tests with the customer if needed.
- Perform bodywork inspections and propose corresponding quotes when necessary.
- Supervise the orderliness and cleanliness of the workspace and ensure keys are properly stored.
- Participate in quality control to minimize returns to the workshop and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional tasks as needed and adapt to management instructions.
Desired Profile
- Minimum experience: 3 years as an Automotive Technical Advisor.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to propose relevant services, estimate costs, and prepare precise quotes.
- Organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Team spirit, integrity, and efficiency.
- Knowledge of warranty procedures and manufacturer requirements is an asset.
