Job Description
Job Offer: Technical Advisor – Auto Workshop
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Technical Advisor to join our dynamic team, in Saint-Étienne-des-Grès or Saint-Paulin. In collaboration with our technicians, you will be the primary contact for clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and ensure an impeccable service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and identify their needs to guide them toward suitable solutions
- Present diagnostics and quotes clearly and transparently
- Explain repairs, costs, and timelines, and obtain client approval
- Coordinate with the workshop and technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Follow up on repair orders and maintain service quality
- Promote relevant products and services and upsell when appropriate
- Manage parts and orders related to interventions
- Keep the workspace and service point tidy and professional
- Ensure customer satisfaction and proactively handle feedback or concerns
Profile Sought
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (technical advisor, workshop customer service, or related sector)
- Good knowledge of automotive systems and technologies, and ability to read technical estimates
- Excellent communication skills, service-mindedness, and customer focus
- Ability to work in a team, coordinate with the workshop, and prioritize tasks
- Mastery of French; English is an asset
- Relevant technical training (DEC or equivalent) or equivalent experience
- Availability to work according to service needs and a willingness to learn continuously
