Job Description
Automotive Technical Advisor – After-Sales Service (Quebec)
Capitale Chrysler Quebec, a member of the Laplante Auto Group network and based in Quebec City, is looking for a passionate technical advisor for service to join its team. You will be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, combining technical expertise and personalized service to ensure reliable repairs and an exceptional customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, identify reasons for the visit, and diagnose service needs.
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance, present options, and prepare transparent quotes.
- Schedule interventions with technicians and supervisors; monitor progress and meet deadlines.
- Follow repairs from start to finish; update customer files and service information in the system.
- Verify warranty procedures and prepare claims; communicate results to the customer.
- Participate in continuous improvement of after-sales service and staff training.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge products and services, as well as Stellantis protocols.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with customers to foster their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Knowledge of soldering and associated processes is an asset; familiarity with Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge brands and Stellantis protocols is also appreciated.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive sector.
- Relevant education (technical auto DEC or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit, ability to manage priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the sector and service management systems; fluent in French, English is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA skill card or equivalents depending on years of experience).
