Job type and conditions
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- No evening shifts or weekend work
- Location: Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, QC
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and plan customer appointments; greet customers and prepare work orders
- Communicate clear and accurate information to technicians
- Prepare accurate estimates and explain repair options
- Order, receive stock parts, and bill for parts; explain invoices and collect payments
- Assign work to technicians and monitor workflow
- Manage warranty claims and return of parts
- Write inspection reports for commercial clients
- Request purchase orders from clients
- Follow up on work and manage opening/closing of work orders
Required qualifications
- Punctuality and reliability
- Bilingual: French and English; Spanish is an asset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Good practical knowledge of auto repairs, light trucks, and trailers
- Strong knowledge of parts and tires
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent writing skills; ability to prepare quotes and reports with impeccable grammar
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar customer service or parts position in an automotive setting
