Job Description
Position: Technical Advisor – Customer Service and Workshop Coordination in an Automotive Garage

About this role You will be the key intermediary between customers and the workshop, ensuring smooth operations and optimal customer satisfaction. You will analyze needs, plan work, prepare estimates, and coordinate follow-ups with the technical team.
This position is suitable for someone who understands how a workshop operates, knows how to communicate clearly with clients, and enjoys progressing cases with rigor. You will assess needs, plan interventions, prepare quotes, obtain customer approvals, and oversee the proper conduct of daily operations.
Your daily tasks
- Greet clients in person, by phone, and email; gather necessary information to understand their situation and the work to be done.
- Explain repairs, recommended maintenance, timelines, and costs; advise and reassure clients.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate work with the workshop; track parts, obtain client approvals, and prepare estimates.
- Document each case thoroughly; monitor the progress of work and ensure accurate billing at closure.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction through professional, human, and structured service; support the smooth running of workshop operations.
Profile sought
- Minimum experience: 5 years as a technical advisor or in a similar role in automotive mechanics.
- Key skills: organizational skills, rigor, ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, excellent communication and customer service skills, effective coordination.
- Technical qualification: good command of computer tools and workshop management software; knowledge of fleet management is a plus.
Working conditions and benefits
- Permanent full-time contract (40 hours/week).
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- On-site presence required to ensure coordination and customer service.
