Technical Advisor – After-Sales Service (Montreal) | Volkswagen Popular

Volkswagen Popular, the regional leader, is looking for a passionate technical advisor dedicated to customer service to join our after-sales team. You will be the key intermediary between our customers and our technicians, providing clear and appropriate solutions that meet Volkswagen standards and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their maintenance or repair needs, clearly explaining options and costs.
• Diagnose reported symptoms, propose solutions, and prepare transparent and accurate estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians: scheduling interventions, tracking work orders, and actively communicating the progress of repairs.
• Manage customer satisfaction throughout the process, answer questions, and suggest additional services when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and warranties.
• Work closely with teams to ensure quality service and customer loyalty.
• Participate in ongoing training and update technical knowledge on Volkswagen vehicles and their systems.

Profile

• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role (technical advisor or technical customer service), ideally in the automotive industry.
• General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles; ability to interpret codes and simple diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills, active listening, and problem-solving abilities; capability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
• Team spirit, customer focus, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual in French/English is a significant asset.
• Proficiency in workshop management and appointment scheduling software; curiosity and willingness to learn.

Education and Assets

• Degree in automotive mechanics or relevant certification is a plus.
• Additional training in customer service or automotive diagnostics is welcome.
