Job Description

• Greet customers, understand their technical needs, explain scheduled interventions and timelines, and direct them to appropriate services.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the workshop team: interpret requests, suggest suitable solutions, and prepare accurate estimates.
• Follow up on repairs, communicate updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technicians and the supervisor to schedule appointments and optimize service efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures; advise customers on preventive maintenance.
• Contribute to customer loyalty and identify opportunities for maintenance or additional services when relevant.
• Manage returns of parts and follow-ups with manufacturers.
• Open and close work orders; handle and manage appointments, calls, and related administrative tasks.
• Produce repair cost estimates and manage warranty claims.
• Participate in workload distribution and customer service, with regular follow-up on files.
• Assist in selling tires, wheels, and other products and services.

Profile

• Minimum experience: 3 years in a similar role or in technical advising in an auto shop.
• Excellent communication skills, customer service-oriented, and able to explain technical information in simple terms.
• Team spirit, organization, and ability to prioritize requests while managing multiple files.
• Good general knowledge of vehicles and maintenance procedures; autonomous and solution-oriented.

Skills and Knowledge

• General knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures.
• Computer skills and ability to use service management tools.
• Asset: familiarity with Mitchell On Demand and GEM-CAR (Service Management).

Licenses and Certifications

• Driver’s license; experience with manual transmission.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAAQ).
