Automotive Technical Advisor (Customer Orientation and Sales)
Location: Knowlton, Quebec
Job Description Are you passionate about automobiles, possess excellent customer service skills, and want to assist clients throughout their visit? Join our car dealership as a Technical Advisor to provide advice on repairs and maintenance, suggest additional services, and ensure an optimal customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and assess the technical needs of the vehicle.
- Clearly explain repair options, estimated costs, and timeframes.
- Offer maintenance services and tailored packages to improve customer satisfaction and dealership results.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage administrative follow-up of payments.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs and services are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and sales performed.
- Provide exemplary customer service by responding to questions, concerns, and feedback professionally.
- Stay informed about automotive technologies, repair procedures, and dealership offers.
- Actively contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining a quality customer experience.
Profile
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Customer service experience; ideally in an automobile dealership.
- Knowledge of or experience in mechanics to credibly advise on repairs.
- Sales experience or ability to propose additional services is a plus.
- Proficiency in cash management procedures and financial transactions.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum experience: 1 year in customer service (preferably in the automotive sector).
- Skills in customer relations and technical communication.
- Knowledge of mechanical basics and maintenance procedures.
Software and Tools
- AB Magic (cash register and customer management software).
