Technical Advisor – Service Workshop at Chambly Honda (South Shore, near Longueuil)

Chambly Honda, a leading Honda dealership on the South Shore, is seeking a Technical Advisor to assist our customers throughout their service and maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and suggest appropriate solutions; explain recommended work and costs clearly and transparently.
• Plan and prioritize work orders with technicians; monitor the progress of repairs and ensure service quality.
• Regularly communicate about the vehicle's status, costs, timelines, and available options; aim for an exceptional customer experience.
• Prepare service documents (estimates, work orders, invoices) and ensure the accuracy of information in the service management system (DMS).
• Work closely with the technical team to optimize turnaround times, adhere to Honda standards, and ensure safety.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support customer satisfaction and loyalty goals.
• Follow up on work progress and perform operational tasks such as opening/closing work orders and scheduling appointments; contribute to the sale of related products and services.

Profile Sought

• Experience: minimum of 2 years in a similar role (Technical Advisor, Service Advisor, or equivalent), ideally in an auto dealership or repair shop.
• Customer service and communication: excellent skills, ability to simplify technical information for clients.
• Languages: fluent French; English is a plus.
• Technical knowledge: understanding of automotive systems and maintenance; familiarity with Honda processes and standards is a plus.
• Computer skills: proficiency with basic computer tools; experience with management (DMS) and diagnostic systems (SDS) preferred.
• Personal qualities: team spirit, solution-oriented mindset, organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities; punctuality and reliability.
