Technical Advisor – After-Sales Service

Location: Brossard, Quebec

We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Technical Advisor to join the after-sales service team at Volkswagen Brossard. You will act as an intermediary between the customer and the workshop, ensuring a smooth experience by explaining repairs, presenting estimates, and coordinating interventions with technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, identify their needs, and clearly explain repairs, maintenance, and associated costs.
• Prepare quotes, obtain customer approval, and recommend preventive maintenance options.
• Schedule and follow up on interventions with the workshop, communicate timelines, and ensure an efficient workflow.
• Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers to ensure mutual understanding of the work to be done.
• Keep customer records and maintenance histories up to date in dedicated systems.
• Propose additional solutions (preventive maintenance, maintenance programs, aesthetic services) in collaboration with the Financing and Parts teams.
• Present warranties, return policies, and timelines; ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and develop lasting relationships, particularly during busy periods.

Profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or related to customer service and/or technical support in the automotive sector.
• Excellent skills in customer service, communication, and prioritization.
• Ability to simplify technical information to make it accessible.
• Bilingual in French/English (reading, writing, and conversation) preferred.
• Proficiency with computer tools and management systems for appointments and customer records.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
