Director of Used Vehicles

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Used Vehicles to lead sales, achieve and exceed targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of salespeople and collaborate with the financing, marketing, and after-sales departments to optimize performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the sales strategy for certified and non-certified used vehicles.
• Supervise, train and motivate the sales team; set individual and collective objectives and foster talent development.
• Manage the sales pipeline and the sales process, from inquiry to delivery, via the CRM and performance indicators.
• Optimize inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing/lease programs to maximize margins and turnover.
• Collaborate with the after-sales service and marketing to ensure a smooth customer experience and positive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with business practices, ethics, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze performance, prepare regular reports, and propose corrective actions.
• Participate in recruiting and ongoing training of the team.

Profile sought (Qualifications)

• At least 3 years' experience in automotive sales management, ideally in used vehicles.
• Expertise in team leadership, coaching, and performance development.
• Strong knowledge of financing and leasing processes and ability to offer suitable solutions.
• Excellent negotiation, customer service, and results-oriented skills.
• Proficiency with CRM and performance analytics tools; strong Excel and POS system skills.
• Excellent communication skills in French; English is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work as required by operational needs.
• Team spirit, service orientation, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
