Used Vehicle Sales Director — Honda Casavant (Saint-Hyacinthe)
At Honda Casavant, a Honda dealership in Saint-Hyacinthe, we are hiring a Used Vehicle Sales Director to lead the commercial activities of used vehicles and provide an excellent customer experience. Based in Saint-Hyacinthe, this strategic role oversees the sales team and contributes to achieving objectives while maintaining the standards and ethics of the Honda brand.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in sales management, ideally in the automotive industry or at a Honda dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the dealership's commercial strategy (volume, margin, mix of new and used vehicles) and monitor progress.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team (team leaders, advisors, sector managers).
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to delivery, incorporating financing and after-sales service options.
- Optimize the customer experience and loyalty (acquisition, lead conversion, retention).
- Collaborate with marketing for promotions and with after-sales service to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Track and analyze KPIs (sales, gross margin, acquisition cost, customer satisfaction) and produce forecasts and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with Honda standards, credit policies, and local regulations.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the sales team.
- Represent the dealership at local events and promote the brand within the community.
Profile Sought
- Minimum 3 years of sales management experience, ideally in the automotive industry and/or at a Honda dealership.
- Proven leadership skills, coaching ability, and talent development.
- Knowledge of automotive sales cycles, financing options, and loyalty programs.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency with CRM tools and dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills in French; English is an asset.
- Results-oriented, autonomous, proactive, and team-oriented.
