Rental Operations Director — Development of a New Department

HGrégoire is seeking a Rental Operations Director to design and deploy a brand new rental department within the group. You will be responsible for the development, strategy, and performance of rental activities across all dealerships, with direct management of a portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, oversee, and optimize the rental portfolio (contracts, deadlines, renewals, cancellations).
• Define and implement strategies for customer loyalty and acquisition of rental contracts.
• Train and support sales advisors on rental programs (residual values, financing rates, scenarios).
• Collaborate with the finance department (F&I) to structure competitive and compliant offers.
• Monitor manufacturer programs, promotions, rates, and residual values.
• Analyze portfolio performance and produce necessary indicators.
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of dealerships.
• Work with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in automobile leasing.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), intermediate-advanced level.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field (an asset).
• Experience managing a client portfolio or rental contracts (a significant asset).
• Proficiency with CRM software and automotive transaction management tools.
• Excellent negotiation, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and propose suitable solutions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Team-oriented, autonomous, and well-organized.
