Position: Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor – Automotive Parts Location: Repentigny, Quebec

Confidential offer intended for an experienced professional to support our automotive parts team. The position is based in Repentigny and needs to be filled quickly, with a key role in the store and customer relations.

Job Context Integrated into the parts department, you will perform both duties of clerical staff and sales advisor. You ensure exemplary customer service, availability and relevance of the parts sold, and closely collaborate with the workshop, after-sales service, and logistics to optimize lead times and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet, listen to, and advise customers on the parts and accessories suitable for their vehicle.
• Identify references and propose appropriate solutions based on the vehicle and the issue.
• Prepare quotes, process sales, and follow up on orders and deliveries.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and non-conformities professionally.
• Enter orders into the system, monitor inventory, and coordinate supplies.
• Maintain accuracy and organization of the counter and store inventory.
• Collaborate with the workshop and after-sales service to optimize timelines and customer satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to requests in-store, by phone, or by email.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of the parts area.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role selling automotive parts.
• Good knowledge of automotive parts, their use, and vehicle configurations.
• Proficiency with computer tools and parts management systems (POS/ERP or equivalents).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Organizational skills, reliability, attention to detail; able to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Team spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent French; functional English appreciated.
• Relevant diploma (e.g., DEP in automotive parts or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
