Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor - Magog Ford (Magog, QC)

Magog Ford, a Ford dealership, is seeking a Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join a dynamic team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, mechanics, and parts service, ensuring communication between clients, workshop, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and advise customers on Ford parts and accessories and compatible parts, aiming for an impeccable customer experience.
  • Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure parts availability and adherence to deadlines.
  • Analyze customer needs, recommend suitable parts, suggest complementary solutions, and prepare the installation or extraction of parts according to the vehicle.
  • Perform transactions and billing via parts management and cash register systems, ensuring accuracy of prices and references.
  • Manage parts inventory: receive orders, update stock levels, label parts, and prepare orders for the workshop.
  • Handle returns, warranties, and stock discrepancies diligently.
  • Participate in inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing quick, accurate, and courteous service, even during busy periods.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive parts sales or related field; ideally at a dealership.
  • Knowledge of Ford parts and OEM parts; ability to read technical diagrams and part descriptions (an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, team spirit, and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with parts management and cash register systems; meticulous in inventory control and order entry.
  • Fluent in French; functional English is an asset.
  • Availability from Monday to Friday.
  • Relevant training or equivalent; a desire to learn and grow in the automotive field.
