New Car Sales Director – Automotive (Montreal and Surroundings)
Join a recognized automotive group and lead the strategy and execution of new vehicle sales. You will manage a sales team, develop the client portfolio, and contribute to the overall performance of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement sales plans aligned with dealership objectives and ensure achieving results for new vehicles.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals; develop skills, supervise performance, and promote talent growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects, fostering loyalty.
- Develop and adjust pricing strategies; negotiate and finalize sales and financing contracts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to management.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Oversee sales processes and transactions (sales, leasing, financing, and insurance) in compliance with internal policies and financial institution requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in automotive sales; ideally in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales management, preferably in the new vehicle sector.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of the local market, competitors, and customer needs in the industry.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment focused on results and rapid change.
- Valid driver’s license.

Operational Tasks
- Execute and supervise sales and leasing offers.
- Develop business opportunities and follow up on leads.
- Present, deliver, and have documents signed; manage payments and transactions.
- Obtain and verify credit applications; collect deposits and issue receipts.
- Review sales contracts and conduct post-sale follow-up.
- Phone and email prospecting; customer follow-up and loyalty.
- Ensure application of financing and insurance fees and their collection.
- Supervise vehicle financing and leasing according to financial institution standards.
Additional Experience and Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Sales Director or equivalent position in the automotive sector.
- Valid driver’s license.
