Technical Advisor - Automotive Customer Service (Ford)

Location: Montreal-East, at Fortier Ford, a new dealership of the GENX automotive group

Responsibilities and duties

• Welcome customers and assess their technical and informational needs related to Ford vehicles and their technologies.
• Clearly and convincingly present the technical features, options, and benefits of vehicles, with a focus on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate technical demonstrations, test drives, and customer follow-ups.
• Prepare technical proposals and tailored recommendations, aligned with customer goals and dealership capabilities.
• Manage the opening and closing of work orders (new and used vehicles) and ensure follow-up on interventions.
• Maintain updated knowledge of products, programs, and promotions to deliver a consistent and effective customer experience.
• Follow up on work performed, schedule appointments, and produce repair cost estimates.
• Provide customer service and follow-up on client relationships with a proactive, service-oriented approach.

Profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (technical advisor, automotive customer service, technical sales).
• Knowledge of Ford vehicles and related technologies, including electric/hybrid solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, active listening, and problem-solving abilities; ability to simplify technical information.
• Bilingual in French and English; proficiency with computer tools and digital presentations.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, and results orientation.
• Availability to work according to showroom hours and operational requirements.
