Internal Technical Advisor - Barnabé Mazda Brossard

Location: Brossard, Quebec

Barnabé Mazda Brossard is looking for an internal technical advisor to support our technical and sales teams and ensure compliance with Mazda standards. Working collaboratively with technicians and advisors, you will optimize technical and service processes within our dealership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and operational advice to the service and sales team.
• Diagnose and clarify technical questions related to Mazda vehicles, in collaboration with technicians.
• Participate in interpreting diagnostics and preparing intervention plans.
• Ensure compliance with Mazda procedures and quality standards during repairs and pre-delivery checks.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement (vehicle preparation, parts management, warranties).
• Document interventions and ensure traceability of technical information.
• Train and support team members on technical updates and diagnostic tools.
• Track work progress, enter data, open and close work orders, produce repair cost estimates, assign work, and perform related administrative tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• No prior experience required; open to motivated beginners.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• General knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools; interest in Mazda is an asset.
• Team spirit, technical curiosity, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in French; operational English is an asset.
• Valid driver's license.
