Director of Sales - Responsible for Department Profitability

Location: Repentigny, Quebec

About the Position

You lead the sales department with the goal of profitability and customer satisfaction. You ensure effective team management, a thorough knowledge of the market, and compliance with performance standards, while ensuring profitability thresholds are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Rigorous tracking of transactions, opening and closing of commercial files (T.O.), and signatures.
• Management of new and used vehicle sales.
• Inventory monitoring and CRM management for all customers (walk-ins, phone calls, etc.).
• Supervision of the BDC department's performance for incoming leads.
• Ensuring smooth delivery processes and follow-up through customer surveys.
• Management and evaluation of staff performance at regular intervals.
• Training and motivating teams, promoting teamwork in the service of the customer throughout the entire sales, delivery, and follow-up process.
• Implementation and monitoring of performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, financing, and deliveries.
• Evaluation of used vehicles and verification that ownership titles are in order.
• Mastery of internal programs to optimize gross gains on new vehicles and the penetration of after-sales services (financing and insurance).
• Control and supervision of contract renewal activities.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role as a Sales Director.

• Ability to make quick and effective decisions.

Experience and Education

• Proven experience: 3 years as a Sales Director.
