Fixed Operations Manager – Service and Parts
Valleyfield Honda is seeking a Fixed Operations Manager to lead the Service and Parts departments, aim for operational excellence, provide a high-quality customer experience, while ensuring financial performance and compliance with Honda Canada standards.
Job Objective Supervise all fixed operations (After-Sales and Parts), ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, in accordance with Honda Canada standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and achieve operational and financial objectives for the Service and Parts departments.
- Supervise and develop teams (recruitment, training, evaluations, succession planning) and promote a culture of operational excellence and safety.
- Optimize workshop processes (scheduling, flow, turnaround times, quality) and parts management (inventory, purchasing, costs).
- Ensure compliance with Honda Canada standards (warranties, customer satisfaction) and provide a proactive customer experience.
- Lead customer satisfaction initiatives (reducing wait times, handling complaints, improving the customer experience).
- Define and monitor KPIs, produce regular reports, and propose corrective actions.
- Manage the Fixed Operations budget, operating costs, and investments in technology and tools.
- Collaborate with the sales department to optimize service programs and add value.
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
- Develop local partnerships and optimize procurement management with suppliers.
Requirements and Skills
- Relevant diploma (bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing/directing fixed operations (Service and Parts).
- Knowledge of Honda Canada automotive after-sales processes, policies, and programs.
- Strong financial management skills (budgets, costs, margins) and experience with service management systems.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication, customer service orientation, and change management skills.
- Ability to work in a bilingual environment: French is required; English is a plus.
