Fixed Operations Manager – After-Sales Service and Parts
Ford St-Basile, a Ford dealership located in Saint-Basile-le-Grand, is seeking a Fixed Operations Manager to lead and optimize the activities of the after-sales service and parts departments, and support the overall operational performance of the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Service, Parts, and Workshop departments to ensure operational efficiency, quality of service, and an exceptional customer experience.
- Define and manage the fixed operations budget, sales and parts forecasts, cost control, and inventory management.
- Implement operational standards, processes, and tools to improve productivity, repair times, and reliability.
- Lead, motivate, and develop teams (technicians, reception, and administrative support): recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, repair cycle times, rework rate, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; promote a safety culture and risk prevention.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to optimize the customer experience and service and parts opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S) and implement operational projects.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors; optimize inventory and ordering processes.
- Plan and monitor the human and material resources necessary for the availability and performance of fixed operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing operations in an automotive dealership environment, ideally covering service, parts, and workshop.
- Proficiency with automotive management systems and service and parts processes; good understanding of performance indicators.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; customer-oriented and team spirit.
- Ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bilingual in French and English preferred; strong customer service orientation and team-minded.
- Availability for flexible hours and local mobility.
