Fixed Operations Director – Service and Parts

Joliette Mitsubishi, a Mitsubishi dealership located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies (Quebec), is seeking a Fixed Operations Director to oversee and optimize the activities of the Service, Parts, and Body Shop departments.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for ensuring an exemplary customer experience, sustained operational performance, and lasting profitability by coordinating the service, parts, and body shop departments and developing the teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the service, parts, and body shop departments aiming for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Define and monitor operational goals, budgets, and key performance indicators (productivity, customer satisfaction, average repair time, recurrence of visits).
• Optimize after-sales processes: customer reception and management, appointment scheduling, body shop flow, parts and inventory management, warranty processing.
• Handle warranties and claims according to Mitsubishi policies and internal standards.
• Develop and coach service and parts teams: recruitment, performance evaluation, and training plans.
• Design and implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency with support from digital tools (CRM, service management systems).
• Manage the departmental budget, parts purchasing, contracts, and supplier partnerships; control costs and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; collaborate with other departments to achieve overall objectives.
• Lead customer loyalty and satisfaction initiatives linked to Mitsubishi promotions and programs.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fixed operations or managing an automotive service; leadership experience required.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; results-oriented.
• Mastery of after-sales processes, warranty management, and parts inventory.
• Skills in financial and budget management; ability to interpret reports and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in French; functional English appreciated.
• Relevant degree (automotive technology, management, administration) preferred; commitment to continuous training.
• Team spirit, proactive attitude, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment focused on service quality.
