We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Financial Services Manager for our dealership located on the North Shore of Montreal. You will oversee all financial activities related to vehicle sales, ensuring impeccable customer service and optimal profitability of the department.

About the position

The Financial Services Manager supervises financing and insurance activities associated with vehicle sales, works closely with the sales team, and ensures compliance with standards. Your mission is to propose tailored financial solutions and optimize processes to improve performance.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities related to vehicle sales (financing and insurance options).
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial processes and departmental profitability.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients to assess their financial needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient financing.
• Analyze financial data, generate reports, and recommend areas for improvement.
• Train and support the sales team on financing and insurance products.
• Ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.

Operational duties (daily tasks)

• Complete sales and leasing forms.
• Develop sales opportunities and handle vehicle registration.
• Prepare and verify documents, obtain signatures, and manage deliveries.
• Manage payments related to transactions and obtain/verify credit applications.
• Collect deposits and issue receipts.
• Review sales contracts and follow up with customers.
• Ensure financing and insurance fees are collected.
• Manage vehicle financing and leasing according to financial institution standards.

Profile sought

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive sector.

Technical skills

• Valid driver’s license.
