Financial Services Director - Elite Ford St-Jérôme

Elite Ford St-Jérôme, a recognized Ford dealer in Saint-Jérôme (Quebec) and a member of the Tremblay Group, is seeking a Financial Services Director to oversee the financial services offerings associated with vehicle sales. The position covers insurance, loans, and automotive warranties, with a focus on customer experience and profitability.

Job Mission

• Define and lead the strategy of the Financial Services department to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Ensure a clear, transparent, and compliant customer experience for all financial offerings.
• Supervise and develop a high-performing team focused on service and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the department's strategy and monitor financial results.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the financial services team and related activities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with financial institutions and insurance companies to offer attractive options.
• Ensure compliance, adherence to internal procedures, and clarity of financing, insurance, and warranty processes.
• Analyze performance indicators, margins, and risks; prepare reports and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with sales and after-sales teams to provide a smooth and personalized customer experience.
• Participate in the development of promotions and campaigns related to financial products and their added value.

Daily Tasks

• Prepare and verify financing and insurance documents; manage credit requests.
• Develop business opportunities and support sales activities.
• Manage document delivery and signatures.
• Ensure the management of payments and deposits; issue receipts.
• Review sales contracts and verify compliance with financial institutions' standards.
• Make telephone and email solicitations; follow up with clients.
• Ensure that financing and insurance fees are collected according to current agreements.
• Manage vehicle financing and leasing in accordance with the standards of financial institutions.

Profile Sought

• At least 1 year of experience in selling financial products, insurance, or guarantees related to automobiles; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to train, guide, and motivate a team; collaborative leadership.
• Analytical mindset, rigor, and integrity to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in the field.
