Floor Manager – Repentigny (Groupe Tremblay Auto)
Located in Repentigny, Quebec, Repentigny Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette is part of Tremblay Auto Group. A modern dealership offering an exceptional customer experience, financing services, and parts and service centers.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate the sales floor team; plan schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure optimal coverage.
- Guarantee a flawless customer experience: personalized welcome, objection handling, coordination of test drives, and follow-up until the sale is concluded.
- Maximize sales results: meet and exceed objectives, optimize vehicle presentation and upselling opportunities.
- Analyze and monitor KPIs (conversion rate, daily sales, customer satisfaction, compliance with processes) and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with service and finance departments to offer comprehensive solutions (new Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles, parts and repairs, warranties, and financing).
- Ensure compliance and operational standards (internal procedures, safety on the floor, cleanliness, and promotion display).
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs and skills development for sales and technical staff.
- Manage inventory and vehicle displays, coordinate test drives, and gather customer feedback.
- Regularly report to management and propose action plans to improve performance and service quality.
- Handle customer service situations and complaints professionally, seeking sustainable solutions.
- Related tasks: closing sales ("Closing / TO"), dealer-to-dealer exchanges, and vehicle evaluations.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Proven leadership, ability to motivate and develop a team; excellent communication skills and customer service focus.
- Results-oriented, good time management, and ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing, warranties, and trade-in programs.
- Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
- Availability for varied schedules based on floor needs and peak periods.
