Branch Manager – Auto and Light Truck Mechanical Repair
Atelier VS Pro – Point S is seeking a branch manager who will also serve as a technical advisor to oversee the daily operations of auto and light truck mechanical services.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, results-oriented individual capable of managing both the customer experience at the counter and the complete coordination of the workshop. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, excellent organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where customer service is a priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and retain customers at the branch, providing a professional and warm experience
- Open, manage, and close work orders; plan and schedule interventions
- Advise customers on recommended maintenance and necessary repairs; ensure follow-up
- Preventive maintenance sales; perform commercial follow-ups
- Manage the work schedule to optimize workshop productivity
- Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and provide after-sales service
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and oversee work progress
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the team; participate in recruitment, training, and staff evaluation
- Generate administrative and operational reports; contribute to continuous process improvement
- Prepare extended warranty claims and ensure follow-up
- Assist with parts ordering and supplier management; optimize inventory
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and partners
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by management
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in the automotive field; general knowledge of mechanics and parts
- Experience in team management (a significant advantage)
- Excellent customer service skills; leadership and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously; good sense of organization and priorities
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Solid computer skills; proficiency with PBS would be an asset
- Team spirit, punctuality, and diligence
- Fluency in French/English is a plus
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the company's growth
- Education: High school diploma required
- Minimum experience required: 3 years in workshop management or equivalent (relevant experience is preferred)
