Logistics Coordinator / Coordinator — CEC Workshop

Job Description The logistics coordinator supervises activities related to transportation, movement, washing, and vehicle preparation within the CEC workshop. You plan movements, oversee operators, and ensure smooth operations to optimize productivity and reduce immobilization times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities related to vehicle movement and preparation.
  • Use Protractor and Astus FMS systems to track operations.
  • Plan and assign operational tasks based on priorities.
  • Monitor the execution and quality of operational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for resolving daily operational issues.
  • Train employees on operational processes and the use of IT tools.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members.
  • Participate in hiring processes and onboarding of new employees.
  • Plan internal and intersite vehicle movements via computer systems.
  • Coordinate required towing and movements according to operational needs.
  • Optimize the use of operational spaces and vehicle circulation.
  • Track operations and produce updates using internal tools.
  • Collaborate with different teams to align operational priorities.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to practices and operational processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree: two to three years of post-secondary education in a technical field, project management, operations, or related area (required)
  • Technical experience and skills:
    • Minimum 12 months experience with Protractor, Astus FMS, Outlook, and Excel (required)
    • Minimum 12 months experience in team training and onboarding (required)
    • Minimum 18 months experience in coordination within car-sharing sector (required)
    • Minimum 12 months team coordination experience (required)
    • Valid driver’s license (Class 5) (required)
  • Assets: experience in operational planning, activity coordination, or team supervision in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of workshop operations or similar operational environments
  • Language: French – Advanced (spoken and written)

Compensation and Working Conditions

  • Annual Salary: CAD 65,145.60 (CAD 34.80/hour)
  • Schedule: 36 hours/week
