Job Description
Deputy Service Manager – Customer Experience (After-Sales Support)
BMW Montreal Centre, an authorized BMW dealership and recognized leader for operational excellence and top-tier customer service, with over 52 years of history and a team of more than 120 professionals, located in downtown Montreal, is seeking a passionate, results-oriented Deputy Service Manager to oversee the after-sales service and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure profitability and efficiency of the workshop by optimizing workflows, costs, and productivity.
- Supervise appointment coordinators and ensure proactive management of workload and priorities.
- Support technical advisors with clear recommendations, in line with BMW standards and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong customer relationships, foster loyalty, and deliver a high-level customer experience.
- Manage administrative tasks of the service department (reports, KPI tracking, planning, parts and service management, billing).
- Collaborate with Sales, Financing, and Parts departments to optimize processes and improve overall performance.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of the department’s budget and KPI goals.
- Promote continuous improvement, best practices, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on the customer and talent development.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive or after-sales service sector.
- Proven experience in team management and supervision, with the ability to motivate, develop talents, and achieve objectives.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of after-sales processes and management tools (work plans, CRM, inventory and billing systems).
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in French; operational English is an asset.
- Relevant degree in operations management, mechanics, or equivalent is appreciated.
- Availability for schedules aligned with the service needs; structured with regular workweeks and weekends off.
