Position offered Assistant Director of Sales – New Vehicles
Your challenges and schedule Leadership and sales management
- Greet and meet every client entering the showroom.
- Assist the sales consultants in closing transactions.
- Support the Director of Sales in planning, executing, and monitoring Subaru strategies.
- Rigorously track key indicators: volume, margin, CSI, inventory turnover, and consultants’ performance.
- Oversee lead management (web, phone, showroom) and optimize the speed and quality of follow-ups.
- Actively participate in management meetings, performance analyses, and strategic decisions.
- Ensure file compliance with internal standards and policies.
Team leadership and development
- Provide ongoing coaching to improve knowledge of Subaru products, customer approach, and sales techniques.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of new consultants.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
- Encourage a culture of transparency, integrity, and exemplary customer service.
Inventory management
- Collaborate on order planning based on Subaru allocations, market trends, and dealership needs.
- Optimize the presentation of the showroom and lot by highlighting the distinctive features of the Subaru lineup.
Customer experience and Subaru compliance
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience aligned with the company values: kindness, commitment, and respect.
- Act quickly in delicate situations or complaints to achieve a professional resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Subaru Canada standards, sales processes, and legal requirements (AMF, OPC, etc.).
- Promote programs (warranties, protections, accessories, after-sales services) in a coherent and responsible manner.
Requirements for the position Education and experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive sales, ideally in a recognized-brand environment.
- Experience supervising, coaching, or managing a team.
- Knowledge of Subaru sales processes or strong interest in the brand (a major asset).
- Proficiency with CRM, DMS, and lead management platforms.

- Strong results orientation while remaining humane and respectful.
