Hybrid Position: Clerk / Accounting Technician – Reception and Accounting

Location: Saint-Rémi, QC (Automobile dealership)

Job Description Under the supervision of the controller, you will split your time between reception and administrative accounting operations to provide an exceptional customer experience while supporting the administrative team.

Responsibilities

50% Reception and Customer Service

  • Greet customers courteously and professionally
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts
  • Perform administrative tasks related to reception
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize the customer experience

50% Accounting and Administrative Support

  • Record and process supplier invoices
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare supplier checks and deposits
  • Enter data and organize documents
  • Prepare documents related to vehicle delivery (QST to SAAQ, registrations, deliveries to customers, etc.)
  • Open files for new suppliers
  • Provide general administrative support to the team

Confidentiality

  • The nature of the position requires discretion and confidentiality

Profile Sought

  • College diploma in accounting or relevant experience
  • Experience in accounting (minimum of 1 year preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organizational skills and independence
  • Adaptability and versatility
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (including SERTI – Administration)
  • Ease in learning new systems and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Team spirit and positive attitude
  • Proficiency in French and functional English
