Yard Management Associate

Garage Attendant – Class 1 (Temporary, 3 months) – Laval

Excellence Peterbilt is looking for a Garage Attendant, Class 1, for our Laval branch. Join a dynamic team in a safe and structured environment.

The Position

• Location: Laval
• Status: Temporary 3 months, possible renewal
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• General Mission: Manage and organize the yard and support workshop and service activities

Main Responsibilities

• Move trucks within the yard and facilitate their entry/exit from the workshop (possibly with the help of a loader)
• Use heavy machinery for snow removal or other operational needs
• Keep the yard organized, clean, and safe
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth operations
• Perform all related tasks related to yard management

Profile Sought

• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Class 1 driver
  • Experience in operating heavy machinery
  • 3 years of yard management experience (preferred)
• License and Driving:
  • Class 1 driver’s license with FM endorsement, valid
  • Good driving record
• Qualities and Skills:
  • Resourceful, meticulous, and creative
  • Team spirit and excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong ability to manage time and priorities
