Job Description
New Truck Preparation Technician (Night Shift)
You are hands-on, resourceful, and meticulous. You enjoy technical challenges and take pleasure in customizing vehicles to meet clients' expectations. Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or bodywork? Student in auto mechanics or passionate about DIY projects? This position is perfect for you if you love transforming a brand-new truck into a machine that reflects your personal touch.
Mission
Prepare new trucks according to customer specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability at each stage.
Responsibilities
- Order the necessary parts and accessories for installations and modifications.
- Install, adjust, and modify cab components (bumpers, fenders, etc.).
- Add various equipment to the cab (lights, mirrors, etc.).
- Perform modifications to parts, including machining and welding.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) according to the established checklist.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle preparation or equivalent field.
- Useful skills:
- Experience with suspension, brakes, alignment, steering, exhaust system, and shocks;
- OR experience repairing Cummins or Paccar engines;
- OR experience with electrical diagnostics.
- Basic technical English to understand documents and videos.
- Strong motivation to learn and improve.
