Specialist – Fleet, Third-Party Transportation, and Handling Equipment (EMM)

Job Summary The Specialist – Fleet, Third-Party Transportation, and Handling Equipment (EMM) ensures the operational management and coordination of activities related to the internal fleet, transportation carried out by external partners, and handling equipment. They oversee cost optimization, adherence to safety standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational activities related to the company's vehicle fleet.
  • Coordinate transportation services provided by third-party partners.
  • Ensure the management and proper functioning of handling equipment (EMM).
  • Monitor and control costs associated with the fleet, transportation, and EMM according to approved frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize operations.
  • Analyze operational performance and propose continuous improvements.
  • Prepare operational and financial reports related to their area of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Desired Profile

  • University degree in supply chain, logistics, administration, engineering, or a relevant technical DEC in logistics, transport, operations management, industrial mechanics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or asset-intensive operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and fleet or inventory management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication abilities.
  • Professional certifications (APICS, CITT CCLP, CAFM/NAFA) are an asset.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 5 years as a Vehicle Movement Specialist or in an equivalent role.
