Mechanic / Automotive Technician - Trois-Rivières

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
• Ensure the quality and safety of interventions
• Collaborate with the team to optimize practices and standards
• Keep records related to repairs and services performed

Technical Tasks

• Oil changes and filter replacements
• Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems
• Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• Suspension and steering repair
• Hydraulic brake system repair

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Degree in automotive mechanics
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive repair (including at least 1 year in an operational role)
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Autonomy, initiative, and team spirit
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license; experience with manual transmission
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles (an asset)
