Heavy Duty Mechanical Technician – Heavy Trucks (Sainte-Julie)

Our modern family-run workshop, currently experiencing growth, is looking for a passionate technician with an interest in machinery and trucks. You may not necessarily have a diploma in mechanics but are well-versed in agricultural or heavy machinery? Our team will support you to guide you on the specific needs of the Sainte-Julie workshop.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines and related systems
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning/heating systems
• Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• ECM, PCM, and ECU programming
• Suspension and steering repair
• Maintenance and repair of hydraulic brake systems

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in repairs related to suspension, brakes, alignment, steering, exhaust, and shocks
• OR experience in engine repairs (Cummins, PACCAR)
• OR experience in electrical diagnostics
• Basic English to understand texts or videos
• Resourcefulness, team spirit, knowledge sharing, and curiosity to develop skills
• Passion for heavy trucks and mechanics
