Experienced Automotive Mechanic

Le Centre de l’Auto, a well-known garage specializing in general mechanical work, auto maintenance, vehicle repairs, and tire service, is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced automotive mechanic. Job Description

As an automotive mechanic, you will perform diagnostics, mechanical and electronic repairs, as well as preventive maintenance and vehicle servicing for all makes. You will use specialized tools and equipment to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake checks, filters, general inspections)
• Conduct electronic and mechanical diagnostics with diagnostic tools (OBD2, multimeter, etc.)
• Perform major and minor mechanical repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering)
• Perform wheel alignments (asset)
• Repair and replace suspension and steering components
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires (tire service)
• Ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of repairs
• Write work reports and communicate with the technical advisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Candidate Profile

• DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent training
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or general mechanical technician
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Autonomy, rigor, attention to detail, and team spirit
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5)
