Diesel mechanic technician — truck specialist

Position: Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Trucks (Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Diesel engines and the range of heavy trucks (e.g., models used in transportation and utility work)
• Diagnose and repair diesel injection systems and anti-pollution systems
• Program and troubleshoot engine control units (ECM/PCM/ECU)
• Repair suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components, including air conditioning systems
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high workshop productivity and meet customer demands
• Manage various complex technical interventions without routine

Desired Profile

• Diploma in automotive or heavy vehicle mechanics, or solid equivalent experience
• Strong expertise in Diesel mechanics and heavy trucks
• Valid driver's license
• Autonomy, rigor, and ability to operate in a high-volume workshop
• Resourcefulness and team spirit
• Appreciation for ongoing training and professional development

Technical Skills Preferred

• Diagnosis and repair of Diesel engines and related systems
• Diagnosis of injection and emission control systems
• Programming and diagnostics of ECM/PCM/ECU
• Maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic systems
• Maintenance of air conditioning and heating systems
• Diagnostics related to suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking
