Profile Sought
- Passionate about mechanics and off-road vehicles
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a mechanic / technician
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems
- Team spirit, good organizational skills, and rigor
- Must own a toolbox
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to perform road tests if necessary
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of light vehicles (ATVs, snowmobiles, jet skis) and customer vehicles (snowmobile, Sea-Doo, VCC, ATV, motorcycle, etc.)
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults and propose solutions
- Conduct road tests when indicated and follow up on interventions
- Work according to manufacturer standards and procedures, respecting safety rules
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and parts used
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems specific to off-road vehicles
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and technical manuals
- Proficiency with workshop tools and instruments
- Attention to detail and ability to work within reasonable timeframes
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Schedule: full-time, Monday to Friday; opportunities for evenings and/or Saturdays during busy periods
- Compensation: up to $80,000 per year
