EMP Garage, with over 24 years of experience and a fully equipped workshop with the latest technology, is seeking a Light Truck Mechanic/Technician to strengthen its team.

Job description You will join a team recognized for its expertise and will work on the maintenance and repair of light trucks and utility vehicles. You will be expected to use modern diagnostic tools and follow rigorous inspection procedures to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.

Main responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on light trucks and utility vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance, full inspections, and repairs related to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, air conditioning, braking, and suspension.
• Analyze symptoms, interpret diagrams and technical bulletins, and utilize diagnostic reports.
• Replace parts, adjust and test systems to ensure performance and safety.
• Write clear service reports and communicate effectively with clients and technicians.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards; collaborate with the team to optimize workflow.
• Participate in training and stay up-to-date on technologies related to light trucks.

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in light truck mechanics.
• Relevant diploma in automotive mechanics (or equivalent).
• Good diagnostic skills and ability to interpret technical documents and electronic systems.
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Team spirit, excellent coordination, and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to a diverse clientele.
• Fluency in French; English is an asset.
